CNC Live controller chip details - Firmware version 1.1
The following schematic provides the recommended interfacing
circuit to connect the CNC Live controller chip to your computer communication port RS232. Since signals of RS232 are not TTL compatible, connection should be done by the mean of MAX232 IC to convert RS232 signals into a compatible TTL signals.
Notes:
- Pulse width = 2.17 µs.
- Controller ports can sink up to 200mA.
- On start up all pins will go high for one second, pin #18 can be used to block signals to flow to the motors by starting up.
- All limit switches should be connected in series with drives.
- Emergency Stop button should be connected in series with the main power line.
